The Neighborhood

At Vassani, we believe a true community should not be gated or fenced in; it should seamlessly meld into its surroundings. That is why we chose Bali’s vibrant Canggu neighborhood for our location and decided to face the street to capture all of Canggu’s action.

We are located in the center of the action surrounded by shops, restiaurants, cafes, bars and from our balconies street side you can observe the vibrant life in our community.

This also means that you will have to expect some exposure to noise, whether from music of surrounding places or traffic. Any music should stop at 11 pm though, unless in special cases of an event, where music is allowed until midnight. We took measures to isolate the rooms against outside noise as good as possible with double glass windows and other sound barriers. However, it is impossible to eliminate all noise from seeping in the rooms, especially from the loud motorbikes. For added comfort we also provide ear plugs in our rooms.

Getting around in the core of our growing village called Batu Bolong is simple: you can walk almost everywhere within 500 meters.

5 minutes scooter (or taxi) drive away at the other end of the (in)famous shortcut you have access to another cool area called Berawa with good restaurants, bars, and the big beach clubs.

15 minutes scooter (or taxi) drive will bring you to the denser Seminyak, with its many great shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Please note that indicated driving time is in light traffic conditions. Traffic jams can make your journey considerably longer. A small drawback of Canggu’s popularity.

Met all expectations if not better. The hotel is much nicer and more aesthetic than the pictures show. The host always responds quickly, helped with transportation from the airport, and when we wanted more nights with them, they responded quickly and booked the room longer without any problems. The staff has been exceptional. A little noise from the street, but expected when you live in the city center and are in reviews, we could easily sleep through. 4-5 other rooms in the hotel. Good wifi and good air conditioning. Warm recommendation.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful accommodation in the heart of Canggu! The location was absolutely perfect – right in the middle of all the hotspots, so we were close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet the place was still peaceful and relaxing. Unbeatable location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Vassani. We booked the lower room which is the only one with direct pool access. Room was spacious and clean and the location is ideal for walking to the Lawn or Labrisa as well as many restaurants such as Penny Lane and retail shops. We also loved being able to go for a swim in between visiting different locations to cool off throughout the day.

A perfect hideaway in Canggu — stylish, peaceful and full of Bali vibes.

The villa was even better than expected — spacious, full of light and beautifully designed in a modern tropical style. The high ceiling and natural materials created an amazing atmosphere. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had a unique stone sink that looked incredible. The private pool area was a highlight — peaceful and surrounded by greenery. Location in Canggu was perfect too — just minutes from great cafes and the beach, shisha, ATM, and Desa Kitsune! Extra words for amazing staff: very very very supportive team i ever seen really! I forgot my iphone in the safe locker, already left appartment, and when figured out it, i were still in Canggu area, they delivered it me on the bike, without loosing time in the traffic jams for returning back by taxi. Thank you dears!

비행기 지연으로 새벽 3시 넘어 숙소에 도착했어요 시큐리티분이 24시간 계시기에 편히 체크인 했답니다. 딱 중심지에 위치하고 있어서 센소리움, 라브리사, 러브앵커 등 모두 도보 가능하구요 층고가 아주높고 발리발리한 느낌의 숙소라 좋았습니다. 테라스에서 보내는 시간도 힐링 그 자체였어요. 수영장도 최고! 매일 청소해주시고 전반적으로 관리가 잘되고 있는 느낌입니다. 샤워헤드 교체 불가능(해바라기), 중심가의 소음은 단점으로 느껴지지 않을만큼 훌륭한 숙소입니다!

Great experience at Vassani, the room is nicely spaced between one bed to another. The service is amazing, the staffs are all so friendly and helpful. The location is prime, walkable to nearest hottest restaurants, bars and shopping outlets. Due to that maybe a little noise from the outside, but nothing intolerable during my stay. Will come back :)

This is my 4th time staying at Vassani and it never disappoints. Feels like my second home, the staff are helpful, friendly and always remember me whenever I return. Its close to all the great bars, restaurants and cafes and walking distance to the beach. I highly recommend the studio room, but if its unavailable all the rooms are still great. I can’t wait to go back.

I can’t say enough great things about Vassani. Great location surrounded by lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes. The room is large and has a balcony overlooking the street. It can be noisy with the bars on the street but I still slept great. Bed is very comfortable. Room was clean and well equipped with a fridge, umbrellas, sarongs and towels. Loved the kimonos to wear in the room. Very nice touch. The pool was my favorite of course. Perfect temperature, very clean, lots of space to sit or relax. Finally Metra and the staff and security were so wonderful. Went out of their way to be helpful whether it was helping with bags, giving advice or just making small talk. You really feel welcomed and cared for. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back myself.

Ich musste auschecken, weil mein Zimmer nicht mehr verfügbar war und hatte mir eine andere Unterkunft gebucht. Diese war allerdings nicht gut, so dass ich dort wieder gegangen bin. We LOVED our stay here. The staff is incredibly sweet and hardworking - always cleaning, smiling and attentive to the guests. The location is PERFECT. A short walk to the beach or into any of the different parts of town. We were there during the chaos of NYE weekend and had no problem getting around without a scooter. A/C worked great, room and pool area were always clean. Can't recommend enough to someone who wants to be in the heart of town.

Astrid & Vassani Stays were absolutely incredible. Everything was exactly as described. Our room was amazing, with a loft bed that was super comfy, a balcony with great street views. Local shops, restaurants & marts were in very close walking proximity. Beaches was also 5-10min walk, with 2 close by. We were able to hire scooters through Astrid and they were up to date and in great condition. The staff at the villa each day were absolutely beautiful people, very kind and always willing to help with anything we asked. When we come back to Bali, we will definitely stay here again. Definitely recommend staying here! Absolutely stunning! 🤍

One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! I arrived pretty late at night and the guard was very helpful with check in. The place is easy to find with the sign out front and security is always there in case you need help. The location is also perfect, next to a lot of great shops and restaurants. The staff at Vassani are also so kind, remembered our names, and made sure to check in with us first before going into the room to clean. I would stay here again for sure!

This stay was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I stayed here in Canggu while in Bali on holiday. The AirBnB was exactly as pictured and a very peaceful/restful stay. There were tons of great restaurants and cafes in the area and I felt safe walking the area. The beach was close and there were many shops nearby as well. The whole complex is cleaned every single day and was spotless at all times. The staff knew us by name on day 1 of our stay and were kind and helpful. 5 star experience and I would 100% stay here again.

“Group stay in Canggu”

The room was exactly as expected. Very worth the price! Staff were all amazingly friendly and attentive, special mention to Astrid (who gave us great local recommendations) and Ilu (who was always had a sunny disposition and very helpful). We had a loft room for 4 pax, 4 single beds. The room was well maintained and housekeeping was done daily. Location was a stone's throw from the beach with food, convenience store and massage options readily available. Room was well ventilated with air-conditioning & ceiling fan. The downside is that the balcony faced the street with bars and music so if you're a light sleeper, this may be an issue. They do provide ear plugs on check in.

Stylish, (very) clean apartment in possibly the best location in Canggu. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It can be a bit noisy at night, but nothing we couldn't deal with or that put us off (we are light sleepers). We came back for a second stay during our 2 week Bali vacation because we liked it that much.

A beautiful Villa right in the heart of Canggu. Our first time staying in a villa with shared spaces such as the pool but we had it to ourselves for most of our stay! The owner and all the staff are super nice and friendly. The studio itself was stunninggg, a nice big space we didn’t feel cramped at all. Photo’s don’t quite do it justice. Stayed in the studio apartment for 4 nights. Fantastic space: Sizable main room with kitchen, balcony and a large bead. Fabulous bathroom, also of great size. High standard on everything and the place looks just like in the photos (as opposed to many other villas in the area). Aircon and fan works really well. Nice pool, although the pool area is quite small as advertised in the photos. Daily cleaning and super friendly staff. The host also helped us book a great driver for a day of sightseeing in Ubud on our way to the next stay. The best part is the location, after walking and driving up and down the streets of Canggu I can’t think of a better location that combines a somewhat less busy street with immediate access to everything this area has to offer. For visiting the best restaurants I recommend booking a table, these tend to be very popular in peak times. Will return if we revisit Canggu - can 100% recommend staying here.

We booked last minute and luckily this place was available. Usually pictures are better than what you actually get but this place was exactly like the pictures. We liked the place so much that we asked if we could extend our stay, unfortunately it was all booked. Every area was so clean and very friendly staff. I also liked that there was two beds in separated areas (one up in the loft and one when you walk in). The design of the place is very quite. This place is prime location if you want to go shopping, grab food, or to the beach. If I ever come back to Canggu area I will definitely be staying here again.
